Nancy Squires, founder Le Silo Bio-Bulk Grocery

     Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Geography from UQÀM and a master’s degree in Environment from the University of Sherbrooke, Nancy Squires is passionate about environmental education and environmental risk management. It is around good shared meals, that she realizes all the challenges related to the world of food. Whether it is food waste, over-processing of food, agribusiness or over-packaging, Nancy realizes that food is a hub in the environment and that everyone has the power to act on a daily basis. Far from being a “dark green”, Nancy thinks that changing habits requires an inner and felt coherence that leads to concrete and lasting actions… slowly, but surely. She chose entrepreneurship in order to create a living environment so that everyone can make a difference on a daily basis.
